What You Don’t Know

I’m just a cactus, but I’m happy in my sand
I’m out of practice and just a little out of hand,
and I’m the last place that you would ever go,
you think you know me, what you don’t know..

I was a jester mistaken for a king,
and I impressed her, but she wasn’t listening,
‘cause when you’re shipwrecked a board looks like a boat,
you think you know me,
+++ but what you don’t know would fill a pretty big book,
+++ and what you don’t know would make a blind man look,
+++ what you don’t know is how to leave it alone,
you think you know me, what you don’t know..

I’ve got some good friends to keep me company,
they know my bullshit, yeah, they see right through me,
that’s why I like them, they keep me on my toes,
you think you know me,
+++ but what you don’t know would fill a pretty big book,
+++ and what you don’t know would make a blind man look,
+++ what you don’t know is how to leave it alone,
you think you know me, know me,
+++ but what you don’t know’s so very plain to see,
+++ and what you might know Jack but you don’t know me,
+++ you just don’t know is how to leave it alone,
you think you know me, what you don’t know…
