Thick as Thieves

“Thick as Thieves,” my second recording, was entirely recorded in southern Michigan at my friend Doug Krehbiel’s studio, and released as a cassette in 1993, while I was living in Elkhart, Indiana. These songs were recorded using an 8-track reel-to-reel analog tape machine (aka “old school”).

Ordinary Splendor

“Ordinary Splendor,” my very first recording, was recorded on a home cassette 4-track (*), and at my friend Doug Krehbiel’s studio in southern Michigan. It came out as a cassette in 1992, while I was living in Elkhart, Indiana. It featured “Skyler,” (written in the summer of 1991), which is still my most-requested song. Guest musicians include Deb Siegrist on vocals, and my cousin Douglas Witmer on violin.
